Types of pollution
You may have read other pages before this one, but does the question still linger: What types of pollution are there? and What are they caused by? Here is a list to answer those questions.

1. Air pollution: Caused by carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide, floating particles, etc. This consists of gases and floating matter, mostly spewed by factories, cars, and homes.

2. Water pollution: Caused by acids and waste getting into our valuable water. Things such as oil spills and boats contribute to this.

3. Soil pollution: contaminated soil due to chemical or waste dumps. Mainly caused by garbage dumps and lawn care chemicals. This pollution ends up in our water when it rains.

4. Radioactive pollution: caused by explosions of nuclear power plants, and unsafe transport of spent uranium. This is the most harmful if you are exposed to it. Remember Chernobyl?

5. Others include: noise and light pollution, which are obviously created majorly in cities. Eg: Toronto, LA, and other large consumers.
