I can recycle, you can recycle, WE SHOULD RECYCLE.
It is very important to the environment that we recycle all we can. Recycling diverts potentially hazardous waste from landfills, keeping the ground clean, which results in clean air and water too! All you have to do is:
- Use grey and blue bins
- Bring other waste like oil to your nearest recycling centre.
By doing this, we can divert up to 45% of this bad waste from our landfills, and we won't have to hear Politicians raving on about their dump problems.
By doing this, the only thing left in our garbage should be compost materials, which turn back to high-nutrient dirt that can be used for farming and planting.
PROBLEM SOLVED.
CASE CLOSED.
On plastic recyclables (Cups, butter tubs etc.) There is a recycling symbol on the bottom and a number. The lower the number, the easier to recycle. Buy things with a lower recyclingnumber, and save the energy that goes into recycling!
Research your local recycling program; some communities have programs such as organics recycling, furniture pick-up or a ‘no-need-to-sort’ system. This can make your home recycling easier.
